As a scientist and I can tell you that many studies can be interpreted in multiple ways. You can usually find an expert who will agree with every imaginable side of a topic… and that doesn’t only apply to weight loss.

So called "experts" will tell you that, "Very low calorie diets are usually not sustainable and people usually gain the weight back when they go off the diet and return to old habits."
