I would not bother with exercise while you are trying to lose weight. Too many changes can be detrimental and if you give up on exercising you may be tempted to give up on your diet too. Exercising will not increase or speed up your weight loss. It may actually slow it down because you may be “working up an appetite” by exercising and end up eating more to compensate without even realizing it. You burn very little calories when you exercise so you can easily compensate by eating a little more.
There is plenty of time to exercise after you lose the weight you want to lose.
